Fundamentals - Shading

Again, no before picture. This is an example of shading. She has shading in three places:

Under the chin to create the appearance that her face is perfectly round (which it already is because she has an oval face to begin with), and to get rid of any heaviness under her chin.

Just below the cheekbone to create the appearance of prominent cheekbones, and on the nose to either lengthen or shorten the the nose depending on the person. In this picture she's been shaded for both.
